Uncle Ho’s poetry inspires Vietnamese, Danish concert

Five Vietnamese traditional musicians will join five Danish singers and musicians in a concert named “Sunny days, Rainy nights” at the Youth Theater in Hanoi on October 16, reports VietnamPlus.
The concert will feature 12 music pieces composed by Danish composers Nicolai Abrahamsen and Michael Moller. Composer Michael Moller, the main singer of the night, said the title of the night and several of the compositions are inspired by the late President Ho Chi Minh’s poetry and the novel “The Sorrow of War” by Bao Ninh.
For one night only, Vietnam ’s traditional music will blend with western music aiming to introduce local culture to a foreign audience.
Free tickets are available at the Youth Theater at 11 Ngo Thi Nham Street, Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi and the Danish Embassy in Vietnam at 19 Dien Bien Phu Street, Hanoi.
